The greatest crowds, the sun seekers, are in town during July and August (peak season), whilst the well experienced Surfers prefer the period between the end of September to April. The modest mediterranean climate in the region makes Ericeira and surrounds a wonderful place to visit anytime during the year. Be aware that from November to March it can be rainy (rainy season), but you might as well get beautiful blue skies and almost no tourists around! We recommend visiting for at least seven days, but be aware, you may end up staying much longer.
